The solo mode of The Mix offers two distinct difficulty levels, Jerry and Ada, allowing you to adjust the challenge based on your familiarity with the game. You face a bot structured around a system of cards and progression tracks. After a setup similar to a 2-player game, the bot has its own board, tip dice, a technique die, and markers on various tracks (rounds, clients, victory points). Each round, it uses a fixed number of solo cards (3 during the first two rounds, then 4), which determine all of its actions. This system fully governs its behavior without requiring decision-making, while ensuring a steady progression in power.

The core system is based on the sequential resolution of solo cards. On each of its turns, the bot reveals a card, resolves the indicated action, then triggers an instant bonus from the previously revealed card (except for the first card of the round). The cards are partially overlapped, creating a chaining effect between actions. Once all its cards have been resolved, the bot performs an automated Setup phase: it converts its resources into points (1 VP per ingredient, shaker, and every $2), advances on the round track, generates income using its tip dice, and progresses on the client track, triggering the associated bonuses.

The pace of the game is directly influenced by the bot, which can trigger the end of the game by completing its client objective. As in multiplayer, the player then finishes their current round up to their final Setup phase before proceeding to final scoring. The bot also scores using the shared objectives (clients, techniques, experience tiles), maintaining constant pressure on all strategies. The solo mode becomes a true optimization challenge, where managing tempo, resources, and action chaining is key to outperforming a bot that is both simple to run and highly effective.
